"JOY JAUNE is an online small artisan patisserie offering handcrafted pastry made with local sourced quality ingredients." How I descripted when I first started this small online business during the early stage of Covid-19 at March 2020 working out of a not-so-pastry-friendly shared kitchen in Preston 3072.

If you ask me now (in Feb 2025), I would say JOY JAUNE is a place for you to get some delicious desserts and cakes that would includes Hong Kong influenced flavour and, if you would like to hear some Cantonese and smell some Hong Kong culture, I will have some for you. I see this place as my studio, my kitchen, serving a friend who is visiting me, sharing what I love to make, and exchanging culture with the Preston Market locals, and hopefully how I run this place could be sustainable and become realistic!

Myself have been cooking professionally since 2014 in Melbourne and Hong Kong, including Garden restaurant at NGV (National Gallery of Victoria) at 2018 and Twenty Six by Liberty with Michelin-acclaimed Chef Bjoern Alexander in Hong Kong at 2016, and was a Head of Pastry at a local event group before opening the physical shop at Preston Market.

Unfortunately we are not ready to offer wholesale order at the moment, however, if you have some fun ideas or projects and would like to collaborating with us, please feel free to contact us at hello@joyjaune.com to discuss, we are up for anything FUN!
